Find Hope Franklin: Mental Health Summit

The recent Find Hope Franklin: Mental Health Summit brought together educators, parents, students, mental health professionals, community leaders, advocates, and faith-based partners for a day of learning, connection, and honest conversation. Participants heard from inspiring keynote speakers, explored local mental health resources, and walked away with practical tools to support emotional well-being in schools, homes, and the broader community.

A highlight of the event was a keynote from Ben Zobrist, former Major League Baseball player and 2016 World Series MVP. Zobrist shared openly about his experiences with anxiety and depression throughout his career and discussed his work with Champion Forward, the organization he founded to support the mental and emotional health of young athletes, their families, and their coaches.

Local mental health organizations were also on site to share information about their services, answer questions, and help attendees understand the support available in the region.

The Summit was presented by Find Hope Franklin, a community mental health initiative launched in 2020 by Franklin Mayor Dr. Ken Moore. The organization continues to lead efforts to reduce stigma, increase access to care, and bring the community together around mental health awareness.
